Media release — next weekend September 7-8, the Avatar press traveling crew will roll into Baltimore just in time to kick off the new NFL season. Our special guest at the show is none other than horror legend, Mike Wolfer. Notorious for his work on night of the Living Dead, Gravel, Stitched, and most recently illustrating George RR Martin’s Skin Trade. Mike will be meeting fans and signing autographs both days of the convention. So dig up those early comics from Mike’s 20+ year career in comics and meet the man whose nightmares have become a part of the comic book landscape.
The Baltimore Comic con is one of those special shows that puts its sole focus on comics. We are looking forward to talking about new Avatar projects and introducing fans to the big releases of the past few months – books by Garth Ennis, Jonathan Hickman, Kieron Gillen, George RR Martin, and Max Brooks take center stage as we bring the horror back to charm City.

And we invite local retailers to come say “hi” as well. We’re always interested in hearing what we can to do help get our products out to your customers.

We’ll see you all in Baltimore!
